PERSONAL
Jack’s nickname is “Bainer”… His favorite hockey players growing up were Ryan Getzlaf, Anže Kopitar, Rick Nash and his dad, Andrew… Andrew played 11 NHL seasons from 1983-94, spending time with Winnipeg, Pittsburgh, Vancouver and Ottawa… Jack’s favorite bands, as well as the two best concerts he has seen, are Coldplay (Toronto) and Chris Stapleton (New York)... His favorite movie is Wedding Crashers, and his favorite TV show is Suits… Jack would also want Vince Vaughn or Jacob Elordi to play him in a movie… His biggest hobbies are playing sports and spending time with his family, and his favorite sports to play outside of hockey are golf and beach volleyball… He was a provincial champion in downhill skiing and soccer as well as a national champion in beach volleyball growing up…He would still like to be involved in sports if he were not playing hockey, but he also majored in business at Boston College… Jack’s most memorable hockey moments include winning gold at the 2023 IIHF World Championship with Canada, representing Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing and making his NHL debut with the Coyotes.
